The Zedu two-day Core Obstetric Ultrasound course is perfect for those new to ultrasound or wanting to brush up on their early pregnancy assessment skills. Designed to meet the miniý curriculum, you will leave with the skills and confidence to perform ultrasound scans to provide comprehensive care for your pregnant patients.

The course covers:

obstetric ultrasound physics and instrumentation

transabdominal and transvaginal pelvic assessment

first trimester examination for assessment of miscarriage, confirmation of intrauterine positioning or ectopic location and causes of pain and bleeding

third trimester growth and well-being scans

transvaginal ultrasound using ultrasound phantoms

During the course, you will have the opportunity to practice your skills on real patients under the guidance of experienced ultrasound educators. The course is designed to be hands-on and interactive, with small class sizes to ensure that you receive individual attention and support.

By the end of the course, you will be able to confidently perform ultrasound scans in your own practice, improving diagnostic accuracy and reducing the need for unnecessary referrals.
